The Veridian STARS Team is proud to have been awarded the Scientific, Technical, Aministrative, Research, test and evaluation Services (STARS) contract on July 1, 2002. This $ 154-million, five-year technical services contract with the Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Weapons Division at China Lake and Point Mugu is expected to begin in October 2002. Under this contract the STARS Team will support a broad range of scientific and technical services involving information technology and network infrastructure related to the Navy's development of weapons systems. Together Veridian, Netzer Russell Consulting, VPSI, Synectic Solutions and SYS are committed to making the transition process as smooth as possible, and are equally dedicated to building a strong team of professionals by hiring the experienced and committed incumbent employees already at work at NAWC.
